What are some characteristics (sp?) of a true american citizen?

What do you mean by ';true?'; If you are born in this country, or if your parent(s) are citizens, or if you go through the process of becoming a naturalized citizen, then you are a citizen. We Americans are from all other countries, we believe in all different faiths, we have all different political opinions, we speak all different languages. Look at the official motto, it's on our money. ';E pluribus unum.'; It means ';out of many, one.'; It comes from an ancient Roman recipe for a stew. We are not a puree, where everything looks and feels and tastes the same. We are a stew, where each different element retains something of its original character, but is changed somewhat by all the other ingredients. We are a stew, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We are Americans, the tastiest people in the whole world.What are some characteristics (sp?) of a true american citizen?
We will pretty much drop everything to help someone else. Look at the Tsunami and who was there soon afterwards helping without much thanks from the international community.


It is like after world war 2 when we rebuilt France's railroads while ours were falling apart. The French repaid us by thumbing their noses at us. Similiar to the anti-American answers you see here. The funny thing is they say WE are the rude ones.... go figure.What are some characteristics (sp?) of a true american citizen?

Great work ethic


Can do attitude


Competitive


Always trying to build a better mousetrap.


Huge sports fan


Noisy


Full of good humor and laughs easily


Has lots of friends


Is living an extended childhood.


Deeply interested in instant gratification.


Practical


And, unfortunately, not blessed with a great fashion sense.
mcdonalds-loving, apple pie-eating, rude baseball players.
Ignorant.
Loyal;


Brave;


Trustworthy;


Hard-Working....!!
1.They are not racist but they hate you if your black, hispanic or asian.





2. They pay taxes.





3. They own a car.





4. They rent/own their house.





5. They think that everyone else in the world loves the U.S. when in fact they all hate us.





6. They eat a lot of food and throw a lot of it in the trash too.





7. They like to go on vacation to Mexico a lot but dont like to see any mexicans taking vacations here because they are so ignorant they automatically assume that they are here illegally.





8. They dont like to discuss money or politics.





9. They think they are better than you.





10.They dont like anybody talking bad about the US so they will probably report or thumbs down your question.... much like this one.
