I don't know where you got that 22000 Euro, thing. Are you sure you're not confusing residency with citizenship? A lot of countries will give permanent residency to investors, just like the U.S.

The U.S. will not let just about anybody have citizenship. You have to live here for 5+ years, you have to pass a test, criminal records don't fly. So, chill out, (you know who you are) because you ARE putting immigrants down.
It sounds realistic. The US is the ONLY country that will take you with nothing to offer but a bunch of personal need.
