Please helpIs that true if you'r not a U.S citizen , you can't get academic scholarship?
You need to be a U.S. Citizen or eligible permanent resident in order to receive federal grants and loans (when applying via the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid - www.fafsa.ed.gov)). It differs by institution as far as institutional scholarships go; most will probably require that you be eligible to apply for federal aid in order to be eligible for institutional aid.

You could check to see about outside scholarhips at some of these sites:

College Board Homepage

FastWEB

Free Scholarship Search

Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Talk to a financial aid officer at the institutions you wish to attend to get more information/guidance about their financial aid program. Good luck!!Is that true if you'r not a U.S citizen , you can't get academic scholarship?
You need to talk to the financial aid office of the school you plan to attend. If you are in the united States legally, I believe there are some finacial aid options open to you...but ASK the financial aid office of the college you want to attend.
This is true for some scholarships and grants.

The reason for this is because people that come here illegally take grants from taxpapers dollars, even though they do not pay taxes.

There are some scholarships though that will accept you if you are on a visa or something of the sort. Each scholarship should list its eligibity requirements.
